I've studied muay thai for two years. This is the second move of what we, at my gym, call "the elbow cycles."
I was taught that our elbows must come from all directions and strike from every angle.
This is a great example of the elbow uppercut that makes up the second stage of the elbow cycle. It's a great picture!

Hey.

I saw these pictures have been used for a website in South Africa here. Was wondering if they got your permission? [link]

Sure thing. What makes me upset is that a company actually built that site, so they basically cashed in on work that you have done. Good luck!

No response. Seems like they have no rights for authors in South Africa...

Well yesterday I tried directly the company that made the website and they replied quite soon, so it seems that they will remove them. We will see.

nice 3/4th lighting. You did a really good job accenting the muscles. The blacks in his shorts and wrist wraps come out well without going too dark. The tones and contrast are very good and tasteful. Love the use of black and white.

thanks. I was just wondering because his stance looks so weird. its probably because I'm seeing two dimensions.

Sport & skill of warrior kings. What have you done differently with this photo compared to the "Uppercut" shot? This one appears sharper.

I used longer time for uppercut then for this photo. I did it for catch motion of body and dynamic of movement.
